We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and administrative functions in our Seattle, Washington office. This role involves managing accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting both the administrative team and broader organizational needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and possess expertise in construction accounting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily office operations to ensure efficiency and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the administrative team, addressing questions and resolving escalations professionally.
- Review financial reports and ledgers regularly to ensure accuracy and consistency in accounting entries.
- Coordinate the placement and renewal of insurance policies for the organization.
- Oversee subcontractor onboarding and compliance, including agreements and insurance requirements.
- Serve as the backup for payroll processing, including timesheet reviews, garnishments, and retirement contributions.
- Manage fleet operations by coordinating with Enterprise Fleet Management and addressing vehicle-related issues such as repairs, emergencies, and insurance claims.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management for development entities, including monthly reporting and bank draw requests.
- Prepare and file state and local sales tax, business licenses, and corporate reports across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with preparation and submission of payroll-related filings, such as 940s, 941s, W2s, and 1099s.
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 + discretionary bonus.

Proven experience in accounting management, including month-end close and general ledger oversight.Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices and financial statement audits.Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.Expertise in account reconciliation and journal entries.Familiarity with tax preparation and filing for multiple jurisdictions.Ability to manage payroll processes, including compliance with state and federal regulations.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
