[job_card.job_description]Work in a pediatric hospital unit with a 14-bed capacity Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18 : 00 to 06 : 00 Typical patient ratios are 1 nurse to 5 patients Patient population includes cardiac observation and post-surgical observation Uses Epic EMR system; experience preferred Hands-on skills include MS / Tele, remote monitoring, and IV starts Charcoal grey scrubs are required Role involves interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, heparin protocols, nasal cannula, and portable oxygen tank usage No local candidates or travel pairs / groups accepted Onsite orientation required with modules completed and recorded via transcripts No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved, and none during the first week of orientation Active TX or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years pediatric RN experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required Epic charting experience preferred Must be proficient in MS / Tele, remote monitoring, and starting IVs Candidates residing within specified counties or within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible Former permanent staff must have a separation of at least 1 year before applying as a traveler High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
