Program Manager (CBP Workforce Wellness)

JOB PURPOSE :

The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Workforce Wellness program. This position ensures efficient execution of activities to include outreach health and wellness services case management physical fitness and nutrition planning scheduling of behavioral health services and coordination of services with community service partners. The Program Manager will also be responsible for understanding completing and reporting on all contract deliverables.

The Program Manager must understand law enforcement and their family members needs. They should also understand case management operations behavioral health treatment and interventions and process improvement. This position will be a spokesperson for the program and capabilities of the CBP Workforce Wellness Program.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Program Management

• Oversee and support all operations for the CBP Workforce Wellness Program including the accumulation of outcome data tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
• Lead coach and mentor the program staff.
• Initiate guide and support staff with continuous quality and process improvement.
• Forecast budget planning and execute expenditures of program funds to achieve the projected financial outcomes.
• Collaboratively work with the specialized staff to monitor client need and implement new support services when indicated.
• Manage relationship with the Contracting Officers Representative (COR)
• Oversee performance measurement capturing and reporting client outcomes and coordinating outreach events as appropriate.
• Track and complete funder deliverables audits surveys and compliance requirements.
• Participate in organize and train staff in established best practices.
• Manage Community Outreach and communication of events to ensure CBP employees and their family members take full advantage of the programs services.
• Represent Endeavors at conferences meetings of service providers within the community and liaising with other organizations at the local level to maintain partnerships and share work of the program.
• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION : An Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college or university in a health sciences field (i.e. social work psychology healthcare administration) criminal justice field or in a related field; and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in people management planning operations budgets and projects; OR any combination of experience and education that results in the required knowledge skill and abilities is required

EXPERIENCE : 5 years of experience with managerial / supervisory responsibilities and program level leadership experience is required. Experience across a range of modalities within social work or counseling. Experience with health and wellness / or suicide prevention experience working with a Military Veteran law enforcement and / or first responder population experience in overseeing / managing employer-based wellness programs and experience delivering training related to wellness behavioral health or suicide awareness OR any combination of experience and education that results in the required knowledge skills and abilities is required.

ATTENDANCE : Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employers sole discretion. Works business hours but position requires support before and after workday and weekends as assigned.

LICENSES : Drivers License with clear record and must pass a government background investigation.

VEHICLE : Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER : Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself / herself or others. Employee should expect to work unpredictable schedules that include evenings and weekend days as needed to accommodate operations
