Description :

Work with an interdisciplinary mental health treatment team.

Complete detailed mental health screenings.

Conduct individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed in the individual mental health treatment plan.

Utilize clinical intervention strategies within the scope of practice and directed by supervision.

Provide psychosocial group interventions as prescribed in the mental health treatment plan.

Provide mental health liaison services to an assigned caseload.

Monitor offender progress with mental health treatment plan goals.

Complete psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Seek and provide information relative to patient care and treatment.

Make appropriate community referrals, as per the mental health treatment team.

Write reports and documentation, including electronic documentation of all inmate contacts.

Document mental health liaison progress note entries, discharge plans, and miscellaneous forms and reports as needed.

Attend meetings of social work or counselor supervision.
