We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

2. Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts.

3. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

4. Participate in tax planning and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Manage cash flow and prepare regular cash flow forecasts.

6. Reconcile General Ledger (GL) and bank statements on a monthly basis.

7. Allocate insurance and track Notice to Owner (NTO) as required.

8. Use advanced Excel functions, such as v-look ups and pivot tables, for data analysis and reporting.

9. Utilize QuickBooks Online ERP and Acumatica ERP software for financial management.

10. Provide support during internal and external audits.

11. Collaborate with team members across departments to improve financial processes and systems.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.

3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.

4. Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online ERP and Acumatica ERP software.

5. Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of v-look ups and pivot tables.

6. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, and compliance.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

10. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
