Duties

·Assist in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourage participation by children.
·Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
·Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports through our app.
·Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
·Help ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
·Follow all center policies and state regulations.
·Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

-Background check
-TB test
-required training within 120 days of employment
-must be able to lift 35 pounds

Nice To Haves

Preferred / Nice to Have:
• Previous childcare or preschool experience
• Experience with infants/toddlers (if applicable)
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Knowledge of QRIS / NAEYC practices
• Classroom management skills + positive guidance experience
• Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practice (DAP)
• Comfortable documenting activities/communication (daily sheets, apps, etc.)
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Dependable attendance + punctuality
• CDA coursework completed or currently enrolled
