Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Owego, NY. This contract position begins ASAP and extends through the end of the school year, offering 15 hours per week focused on serving students in one school site. The caseload predominantly includes students with Autism Spectrum Disorder utilizing high-tech AAC devices, providing a specialized and impactful clinical experience.

Qualifications :

  • Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathology License required
  • Credentials / certifications : SLP, SLP - School, SLP - CFY, SLP - CCC preferred

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement therapy sessions tailored to the needs of students with communication challenges, particularly those using advanced AAC technology
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and therapy outcomes
