This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule or Shift\n \n

Varied shifts including 9 AM to 5 PM, 11 AM to 7 PM, 1 PM to 9 PM, and 3 PM to 11 PM

Weekend hours required every other week or as needed

On-call duties required one to two times per week in 8-hour increments

\n \n\nJob Description\n

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services, where you will provide high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. This role requires a commitment to clinical excellence and the ability to work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients in the Surgical Services department

Work with surgical teams to deliver safe and effective patient care

Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the surgical process

Facilitate communication among patients, families, and the surgical team

\n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

Active Pennsylvania RN Licensure

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Experience in Surgical Services or a multidisciplinary acute care environment preferred

Charge nurse experience and familiarity with robotics and trauma care are advantageous
