Oracle is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Director of Customer Strategy & Industry Value to lead a global team of highly skilled consultants. This role is responsible for shaping and executing strategies that maximize customer value, drive business outcomes, and position Oracle as a strategic partner in targeted industries. The Senior Director will ensure best-in-class delivery of strategic consulting services, foster deep executive-level relationships, and guide the team in articulating Oracle's industry vision and capabilities.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and direction to a global team of 10+ senior consultants, ensuring performance excellence and professional growth. The role involves developing and executing customer-centric strategies that align Oracle's products and services with client business objectives and industry trends. The Senior Director will be accountable for the successful delivery of high-impact industry value engagements, executive workshops, assessments, and strategic initiatives for premier enterprise customers.
Partnering with sales, product, and solutions teams, the Senior Director will support account planning, opportunity shaping, and value articulation. The role also requires serving as the executive sponsor for key transformation projects, ensuring outcomes align with Oracle's and the customer's priorities. Maintaining deep industry knowledge and fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture are also critical components of this role.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred. The candidate should have 12+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, enterprise technology, or related roles, with at least 5 years leading global teams. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute customer and industry strategies with measurable business outcomes is required, along with proven success managing, coaching, and developing highly skilled consultants across multiple regions and cultures. Deep expertise in cloud, SaaS, digital transformation, or enterprise applications is also essential, as well as exceptional executive presence, communication, and relationship management skills.
