As a Maintenance Technician for 900 West Townhomes , located in Lansing, MI, you will have the opportunity to positively impact our community and all residents, guests, and owners by providing a safe, well-maintained and visibly appealing property. This position is responsible for ensuring the property, grounds and equipment are safe and orderly. A successful Maintenance Technician will be self-motivated, provide outstanding customer service, and will take immense pride in their work. The Maintenance Technician must act with a sense of urgency and have an unparalleled passion for service in order to display a commitment of excellence that interprets the Eenhoorn vision and brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for patrolling areas looking for maintenance issues to address
• HVAC PMs, repairs, and filter changes
• Minor electrical repairs – replace outlets, switches, light fixtures, LED drivers, etc.
• Weekly emergency generator testing
• Repairing / installing plumbing fixtures. Clear sink and toilet clogs
• Repairing / installing drywall, doors, screens
• Caulking and painting
• May help with apartment turns
• Help repair / replace appliances
• Help repair water heaters
• Help maintain pool equipment such as pumps, feeders, and gauges.
• Help grounds with seasonal tasks such as leaf pick up and snow removal
• Monitor and respond to work orders
• Maintain stock of repair parts
• Order maintenance / janitorial supplies
• May need to respond to after-hour and weekend emergency calls
• Participates in other projects and activities assigned
