POSITION SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Representative supports the company's industrial sales operations by managing inbound and outbound sales communications, qualifying leads, preparing quotes, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role works closely with Outside Sales, Sales Management, and Operations to ensure a smooth customer experience, achieve sales goals, and contribute to regional profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels
• Proactively make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate sales opportunities
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and bids in coordination with Outside Sales
• Support the sales team with lead qualification and appointment setting
• Track customer interactions in CRM and maintain accurate sales records
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products and services to current customers
• Collaborate with operations to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge
