Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond professionally to any incidents or concerns. Utilizing your communication skills and attention to detail, you will contribute to a welcoming environment that supports the needs of everyone at the property. Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the commercial real estate location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and / or other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Collaborate with building management and other personnel to address security-related issues and support a secure environment for occupants and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
