A. Morton Thomas, LLC (AMT) is hiring a  Land Survey Field Technician  to work based out of our office in  Washington, DC . This position requires NO previous survey experience. As part of this team, you will receive on the job training and support. Responsibilities

• Perform field survey activities to support the survey crew chief
• Field survey activities will include technical support : Operate survey instruments, levels, GPS, iPad, and data collector. Entry-level staff will be trained to operate survey instruments during the first year of employment
• Field survey activities will include manual labor support : open and investigate utility manholes, set survey points with sledgehammer, set survey points on construction sites, stock survey supplies in survey vehicle
• Perform daily field survey activities as directed by the survey crew chief
