Pay Rate $62,254 based 12 months pay rate Minimum Experience / Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business and three years of experience related to international business or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
• Must have international business experience to be considered for the position

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training / Education :

MBA and seven years of experience related to international business

Duties and Responsibilities The International Business Counselor is responsible for providing technical assistance to SBTDC’s small and mid-sized companies to foster regional economic growth through exporting and importing. The International Business Counselor is expected to provide confidential, individualized counseling and technical assistance to a sizable client group throughout western North Carolina.Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following :
