We are seeking experienced Prep Cook to join our Culinary team at Carmine's. When you join our scratch kitchen, you become part of a focused team who has a passion for outstanding food using the freshest ingredients that will allow you to deliver remarkable meals daily. As a prep cook you are responsible for all putting everything in place before every Southern Italian meal is cooked to perfection!

Your Role with Us :

  • Our prep cooks set up the shift for success by ensuring we are prepared to serve all our dishes from the scratch kitchen.
  • Assist in prepping all food items in a specific station; measuring, cutting, pealing, slicing etc.,
  • Maintain the kitchen by sanitizing prep areas before and after use and making sure that all knives and critical equipment are clean.
  • Monitor side dish ingredients and report inventory levels to the Sous Chef at regular intervals throughout the day & night.
  • Follow health and safety procedures laid out by management, city, state and federal requirements.
  • Support the entire kitchen team from the dishwasher to the line as needed.

We Are Looking for Candidates :

  • Ideally, with experience in Food prep in a high-volume environment.
  • Able to follow Instructions and work as part of team.
  • With experience in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • With open flexibility to work various shifts.
