Senior Database Reliability Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to join their Core Infrastructure Team.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, scale, and support high-throughput data platforms for mission-critical applications

Collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to design resilient, fault-tolerant data pipelines

Ensure exceptional data consistency and high performance at the database level using technologies like Kafka and Flink

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience with enterprise RDBMS (PostgreSQL / Aurora / MySQL / Oracle) focusing on optimization and security

3+ years managing databases & CDC Streaming services on AWS

Experience with Apache / Confluent Kafka and running clusters at scale

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Proficiency in Python and familiarity with containers and cloud platforms (Kubernetes / ECS / AWS)
