Maintenance

Waters Edge Lodge a senior living facility located in Alameda California is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair duties to ensure the safety functionality and aesthetics of our facility.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is an hourly position working 4 days a week with a compensation rate of $21 to $25 per hour. The current scheduled days are Sunday-Wednesday. The individual will be paid biweekly

Responsibilities :

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance or repair needs
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting plumbing (mostly replacing toilets and fixing leaking sinks) HVAC and light electrical repairs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure the safety and security of the facility by identifying and addressing potential hazards
• Communicate regularly with the management team to provide updates on maintenance activities

Requirements :

Waters Edge Lodge is an assisted living facility with 101 apartments for frail elderly. Residents are permitted to have pets so employees may be exposed to cats and / or dogs in the course of their work.
