Summary

Children's Day School is seeking a passionate and dedicated toddler teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for working with young children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. This role is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing engaging classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of toddlers.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with the ELDS / CT DOTS.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe and document each child's progress, growth and milestones.
• Communicate with parents, providing updates of their child's activities, development and needs.
• Supervise and monitor students at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with other teachers and the administrative team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Facilitate play based and hands on learning experiences to encourage curiosity, exploration and problem solving skills.
• Participate in parent teacher conferences
