Job Description

3rd Shift Driver

Title : Shipping Operator

Status : Hourly

Shift : 3rd, 9pm - 5am

Reports To : Shipping Manager

Location : Mentor

Education : A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.

Work Experience : Minimum of 1-year experience in a shipping & receiving environment. Must be qualified and certified to operate a forklift truck (training provided). Clerical / Computer ability required.

Requirements :

• Computer skills required.
• Time Management skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for daily shipments.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and off hours to support customer shipments.
• Have strong sense of urgency with the ability to work independently.
• Maintain a positive relationship with vendors, suppliers, customers, contractors, and operations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret SOPs, EPs, and detailed work instructions.
