ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB's Downtown Orlando office is seeking a Land Development Intern to join our team for Spring and / or Summer 2026. Interns will work on civil engineering projects and will learn technical skills and computation software.

Our impressive Florida portfolio includes collaborations with mixed-use multifamily and national homebuilders; healthcare and commercial developers; industrial sectors; hospitality giants including amusement parks; and various municipal and local government bodies. We are proud to serve State DOTs, municipalities, and private clients throughout the eastern United States on significant projects like Water Street Tampa, The Grow, and Wellness Way.

Responsibilities

Effectively interact with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner

• Engineering calculations
• Preliminary and final design plans
• Contract documents including specifications
• Engineer's estimates
• Preparing construction documents
