Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position, requiring 18 months of recent specialty experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Cath Lab setting

Involves interventional and structural cardiology procedures

Day shift with 4x10 hour shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

13-week contract assignment

Performs interventional and structural procedures in a Cath Lab environment

Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for one year after their last assignment

Modules must be completed pre-start and annually as required by the facility

Extensions are permitted up to 18 months with a mandatory six-month break afterwards unless otherwise approved

Requirements

Active FL or compact RN license must be in hand at time of consideration

Minimum 18 months of permanent recent Cath Lab experience required

Current certifications must be active with nothing pending

Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Cath Lab specialty required, dated within the last 12 months

Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation and achieve an acceptable score within two attempts

Negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually

BCI / FBI background fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

No open background cases or license hits accepted
