Duties and Responsibilities
Download and analyze daily data from the Transportation Management System (TMS)Track and trace shipments in transit using carrier web trackers and email communicationsManually upload Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to the TMS to support carriers as neededValidate PODs to ensure they are signed by receivers, correspond to the correct shipments, and are properly transferred from TMS to SAPIdentify and report deliveries with Over, Short, or Damaged (OSD) notations on PODs to the CSR teamSummarize and document issues or exceptions within the TMSGenerate ad-hoc reports and support the monitoring of Customer Service Representative (CSR) Group Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accurately perform data entry tasks and maintain organized recordsDevelop a thorough understanding of internal logistics processes to support carrier educationStay current with logistics industry standards and best practicesCommunicate all ongoing issues, exceptions, and concerns to the Team Leader in a timely mannerSkills and Specifications
Prior experience as a Supply Chain Planner, Specialist, or in the logistics industry is highly preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) and OutlookStrong, clear, and concise communication skillsPositive attitude with the ability to manage assignments independentlyAbility to thrive in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracyExcellent prioritization skills, able to shift focus to urgent issues without neglecting routine dutiesQuick learner, adaptable to new systems and sudden changesHighly organized with strong follow-up abilitiesDetail-oriented with a keen sense of urgency and the ability to escalate issues appropriatelyCapable of building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and carriersEducation and Qualifications
