Location : Abilene, Texas 79601

Start Date : November 10 or December 1, 2025

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day, 5x8-Hour (06 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM)

Total Weekly Gross Pay : $2,646.00

Position Overview :

A healthcare facility in Abilene, Texas is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the Main OR. This full-time role includes weekday coverage with call and late days as needed. Candidates must have experience in craniotomy and burr hole procedures and be comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities :

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity surgical environment
• Assist in Neuro / Spine, Ortho / Trauma, and General / Robotics / Trauma procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to optimize outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation and extended hours as required

Required Qualifications :

Certifications : BLS

Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexibility for call and late shifts

Preferred Certifications : ACLS, CNOR, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC
