Senior Linux System Administrator internally known as SeniorAnalyst InformationWorkplaceServicescollaborateand supportexciting critical programs with classified information system this role means you candevelop implement and maintain secure cost-efficientenvironmentsacross various classified programs. Program teams rely on yourcollaborationand guidance to define computing requirements andcreateend-to-endsolutionstosolvecomplexIT infrastructure problems.

What You Will Do :

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows VMWare and Redhat EnterpriseLinuxenvironment.

Provide daily checks in multiple data centers.

Understandingand knowledge of Windows Server internals and Linux fundamentals to include DNS DHCP AD and server replication methods

Working as a team member in afast-pacedtechnologicalenvironment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware operating systems (OS) and program specific software.

Experience data backup uses and technologies. Install and help configure software applications requested by end users.

Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

Travelrequiredas businessneedsdictate to other US Domestic locations up to 10% per year.

Full time 100% o nsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have :

Typically requires bachelors and minimum of 2yearsof relevant prior experience.

Must have a transferable U.S. government issuedsecret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Must have Linux experience.

Must have experience with ActiveDirectory VMware Administration backup and recovery.

Qualifications We Prefer :

Must have experience with performing functional system checks.

Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification)

Experience with NISPOM JAFAN JSIG DFARS and / or DoD / RMF

Experience with data storage NAS and SAN technologies andsolutions

Experience with using Information Technology project lifecyclemanagementprocesses.

Experience using VMWare vCenter vSphere and ESX and / or other virtual computing methods.

Experiencesupportingengineers in software simulations and hardware development.

Experience with Microsoft WSUS MECM and / or Exchange

High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linuxenvironment

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
