Digital Content Producer eBiz
The Digital Content Producer eBiz will develop, edit digital article pages and website content. Ensure web pages maintain a consistent corporate look and feel. Create and maintain an information architecture that is well organized and user friendly. Analyze the use of website content / design and take steps as necessary and reasonable to improve content and design.
Job Duties
- Work with Digital Content Senior Strategist to manage editorial assignments on content development projects and ensure publishing deadlines are met.
- Gather requirements, create specifications and develop content for different business units. Tests, evaluates and debugs website content.
- Develop and design article pages and develop web content using variety of related technologies.
- Ensure digital content is compatible across multiple platforms and browsers. Review, analyze and optimize web content.
- Keep abreast of current and emerging content trends and content development technologies to evaluate applicability to site.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal content development processes and operations. Interface with senior management and other key managers as needed to champion new ideas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Assess the impact of the changes on projects and deliverables and makes recommendations and determines solutions based on schedule, scope, or resources to meet critical deadlines.
- Identify and recommend courses of possible action for consideration to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.4-6 years in digital content, journalism, or marketing with insurance, travel, or automotive brand experience required.Skilled with using Web-based analytics tools required.Excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills and detail orientation required.Strong verbal and written communications skills and the ability to self-motivate, prioritize and manage workload required.Strong ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Scope
Work is accomplished with moderate supervision. Follows established and detailed directions. Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.Provides resolution to an assortment of problems that are typically well defined, but some clarification or judgment is required to determine action, as additional information about the problem / task is discovered. Uses judgment within defined practices / procedures to determine appropriate action. Problem / Task resolution timeframe : Inclusive of shorter timeframes, but most tasks take up to several weeks to resolve.Under general supervision, proceeds alone for regular duties, referring questionable cases to supervisor.Individual ContributorFailure to achieve results or erroneous judgments may require the allocation of additional resources to correct and / or achieve goals.Contacts are primarily within the department or function with occasional cross-functional interfaces. Some limited external customer contact on routine matters.The starting pay range for this position is :
$90,400.00 - $120,300.00
