Entry Level Child Therapist

Job Schedule : Monday - Friday, daytime hours (8am-5pm). May volunteer for occasional Saturdays based on patient needs.

Location : 7000 Caton Farm Rd, Suite (E & R) Plainfield, IL 60586. Start Date : Immediate openings available!

Preferred Experience : While not required, experience in childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor), mental health roles (QMHP, behavioral health technicians), camp counseling, paraprofessionals, caregivers, or life skills assistants is a plus.

Compensation : Pay is based on education and ABA experience :

• High School / Associate's Degree : $16.60 - $23.50 per hour
• Bachelor's Degree : $17.50 - $27.00 per hour
• Master's Degree : $19.00 - $28.00 per hour

Fun Fact : You will receive your first raise after obtaining your RBT certification, typically completed within about three weeks of hire!

Your Role : As a Behavior Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy. You will :

Make an Impact : Join Action Behavior Centers to help children with Autism learn and grow. We provide full training and cover the cost of your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate. Your role is vital in building communication, social, and independent skills for each child.
