Applications Engineering Manager (Chicago area)

We’re recruiting for an FAE Manager to lead a team of Field Application Engineers in the Chicago metro area (Romeoville, IL). This onsite role blends technical leadership, sales support, and customer-facing collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Provide front-line technical sales support across business divisions

• Deliver product training through presentations and hands-on sessions

• Lead Technical Bid Reviews (TBR) to support new product and process development

• Work directly with customers and sales reps to design tailored solutions that meet requirements while ensuring profitability

• Conduct market research to analyze competitors and identify opportunities for improvement

• Champion product enhancements and manage implementation from concept to launch

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA preferred)

• Solid background in electrical and mechanical systems

• Experience in field applications, technical sales, or engineering leadership

• Knowledge of power systems and grid automation

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor FAEs

• Onsite presence required daily in Romeoville, IL
