The Hematology / Oncology Physician will serve as the Medical Director at a community hospital in Albany County, NY, leading a team of physicians and advanced practitioners. This full-time role involves providing both oncological and hematological care to adult patients, with a typical workload of 20-30 outpatient and 15-20 inpatient cases daily. Job details :
- Start Date : ASAP
- Shifts : Monday-Friday, 40 hour work week - days, 1 : 5 weekends and -approximately 1 : 5 weeknights
- Practice Setting : Hospital
- Reason for Coverage : Replacement position
- 100% hospital-employed
- Dates of Coverage : Full-time as soon as credentialing is complete.
- The Medical Director will lead a team of five physicians and four advanced -practitioners.
- There is strong APP support in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Outpatient clinics located on hospital campus.
- Our multi-site practice has two beautiful locations, both located on hospital campuses.
- Patient Demographics : Adult only
- 50 / 50 Hem / Onc must be interested in providing both Oncological and -Hematological care
- Numbers of physicians in practice : 4,
- 5 FT Rad Onc physicians on-site, 5 APPs on site.
- Average number of patients per day(outpatient) : 20-30
- Average number of patients per day(inpatient) : 15-20
- 440 bed community hospital
- Documentation System / EMR : Epic
