Airgas considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. / ppTravel 10% / ppWork schedule Monday- Friday / ppThe Plant Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of ammonia production, site safety, and the professional development of our frontline team. You will have full site accountability, ensuring that production targets are met through a culture of safety and operational discipline. / pulliWork with the Region CSRs to manage the product supply and inventory for the facility. / liliManage the monthly expenses for the operations facility and be able to explain the financial drivers on the monthly budget reports / liliResponsible for effective use of all driver resources including minimizing the overtime, leveling the work load across all drivers, and cross training all drivers to handle all distribution equipment. / liliOversee all plant operations including truck and rail loading / unloading, water system operation and maintenance, and cylinder and tote filling as well as managing any plant projects as needed. / li / ulh2Are You a Match? / h2pstrongRequired Qualifications : / strong / pulli6+ years professional work experience including a supervisory role. / liliKnowledge of Safety and Regulatory / DOT / OSHA / EPA Compliance. / liliExperience with hazardous material with knowledge in hazmat regulations. / liliKnowledge of industrial chemical distribution or logistics including inventory management preferred. / liliStrong computer skills, including proficiency with using the Google platform. / liliGood oral and writing skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
