Neonatologist – Permanently Employed Position – Las Vegas, NV
Overview :

Position Details : Practice Setting :
- Join a team of 16 Neonatologists and 8 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs).
- Cover services at four area hospitals, including Summerlin, Spring Valley, Centennial Hills, and Henderson Hospitals.
- Each hospital features a Level-III NICU with 28 to 52 beds.
- Providers rotate through hospitals, spending one month at each before rotating to the next, ensuring diverse clinical exposure.
Clinical responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive neonatal care, including high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), and total body cooling.Participate in an active transport program.Collaborate with full perinatal and pediatric subspecialty and surgical support, excluding open-heart surgery.Engage in quality improvement, clinical research, and continuing education initiatives.Shift Details :
24-hour shifts with in-house on-call.Full-time schedule of approximately 7.5 shifts per month (2160 hours annually).Candidate Qualifications :
Credentials :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.Open to newly graduating neonatologists through 2025.Candidates who are TRULY Board Eligible within five years of certification eligibility and working diligently toward certification are encouraged to apply.Experience :
Prior experience is preferred but not required for new graduates.Willingness to work in a multi-hospital setting with rotation schedule.Additional Requirements :
Residency within or near the Las Vegas area is preferred.Relocation assistance may be available; specifics to be discussed during the interview.Candidates with lapsed certification requiring re-certification are not eligible.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Compensation & Benefits :
