Proactive Learning : Seeks opportunities for continual learning and technical growth. Adaptability & Time Management : Handles changing priorities and can manage 3-4 concurrent tasks effectively. Responsiveness : Balances day-to-day operational needs with longer-term project work. Design & Development : Designing, writing, converting, and implementing software for generator control switchgear HMI applications. Hardware Configuration : Configuring, programming, and testing HMI hardware. Collaboration & Validation : Working with Power System Engineers to test and validate HMI programming. Support : Troubleshooting and providing remote support for HMI issues in the field and during installation. Project Execution : Assisting in following an electrical design schedule to meet overall project deadlines. Team Structure : You will report to an HMI Manager and join a team of 4 other engineers (2 Senior, 2 Engineers). Daily Interaction : You will work closely with the HMI team and collaborate extensively with the Power System Engineering team for testing and validation. Work Setting : The role involves a mix of office work, lab testing, and time on the manufacturing floor. Critical Work : This is a key role in a growing team that meets the demands of the automated switchgear industry.
