Clinical Supervisor – Mental Health
Location: W. Saint Paul, MN (Dakota County)
Pay range: Full-Time - $72,000 to $78,000 + Full Benefits
About the Role
Guild provides community-based mental health, housing and employment services for people with serious and persistent mental illness. Guild is currently seeking a licensed Clinical Supervisor to lead our interdisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. You'll oversee clinical operations from intake to discharge, supervise and develop staff, and model high-quality, recovery-focused care for clients with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
This is a field-based role — you'll work where clients need you, with some travel within the local area.
What You'll Do
- Lead clinical operations, referrals, and treatment oversight
- Directly supervise and develop an interdisciplinary team
- Facilitate case reviews and implement evidence-based practices
- Ensure documentation and compliance with 245I variance standards
- Participate in on-call crisis support rotation (weekly intervals)
- Build community partnerships and external referral relationships
What You Bring
Required:
- Master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field and 4,000+ hours of supervised experience serving individuals with mental illness
- Active MN licensure as LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC in good standing
- Valid MN driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass a MN DHS background check
- Strong understanding of clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and evidence-based practices.
- Understanding of clinical supervision models (e.g., developmental, integrative) and how to apply them
Preferred:
- Board-approved Mental Health Professional Supervisor (or eligible within 6 months)
Working Conditions
- Primarily field-based with local area travel
- Must be able to transport clients in a personal vehicle
- On-call crisis support on a rotating weekly schedule
- Occasional computer/desk work; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
