Position : Kafka / StreamSets Developer (Onsite)
Locations : Louisville, KY | Houston, TX
Visa : H1B / H4 EAD | Long-term
Responsibilities
Build and support real-time data streaming using Apache Kafka
Develop and maintain StreamSets Data Collector pipelines
Create / maintain Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and consumer groups
Implement error handling, retries, and monitoring for pipelines
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance (latency / throughput)
Work with data / app teams for requirements, deployments, and documentation
Must-Haves
Strong hands-on Apache Kafka experience
StreamSets pipeline development (Data Collector)
Real-time streaming / event-driven data processing experience
One language : Java / Python / Scala
Good debugging skills + Linux basics
Nice-to-Haves
Kafka Connect, Schema Registry (Confluent)
Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), Docker / Kubernetes
Monitoring tools (Splunk / ELK / Prometheus / Grafana)
