Responsibilities
Located in downtown Fresno, Community Regional Medical Center is home tothe region’s only Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento.
As an experiencedRNyou’lljoin a clinical team delivering high-acuity care for a diverse patient population between our ED, PACU and ICU departments in some of the hospital’s most complex environments.
Coordinate patient assignments, admissions, discharges, and transfers tomaintainefficient patient flow andoptimalbedutilization.Organizes both direct and indirect patient care efficiently and prioritizes appropriately to create a collaborative and communicative environment for all the members of the healthcare team.Acts as a patient advocate byinitiatingaction to improve healthcare or to change decisions or activities which are against the interests or wishes of the patient, and by giving the patient the opportunity to make informed decisions about healthcare before it is provided.Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory standards to ensure exceptional, patient-centered care.Join the largest healthcare system in the Central Valley and help advance critical-care excellence at the heart of California!
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE)or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificaterequired5 years of RN experience in the ICU or Red Zone ED trained preferredLicenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of CaliforniarequiredBLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)requiredAdult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer intojob.
