Senior Accountant FERC Reporting

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, Venture Reporting- Limited Term Employee.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee full cycle accounting close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks

Manage supporting schedules and workpapers, ensuring relevant account reconciliations and job cost reports are completed accurately

Review and research deliverables, assist in preparing financial statements, and oversee compliance with FERC regulations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred

2-4 years of experience in an accounting department or public accounting, with a focus on FERC reporting in the energy industry

In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements

Experience with SAP and BI / BW preferred

Extensive experience with integrated accounting software and Microsoft Excel
