How You Will Create an Impact

• Provide technical expertise in directing and resolving Federal Workers' Compensation claims in accordance with best claim practice guidelines.
• Utilize investigation, claim handling, litigation, and negotiation skills to ensure timely cost-effective claim settlements and file closure.
• Claims could be of unlimited value but utilize independent decision making with reserve and settlement authority up to $150,000.
• Provide prompt effective customer service to differentiate AIG from our competitors
• Manage indemnity, medical and legal aspects of assigned claims using available resources which include medical management services to manage medical treatment and coordinate use of independent medical evaluations where appropriate.
• Gather documentation and make a timely recovery submission to DFEC in a complete and efficient manner to ensure full recovery is received.
