Are you ready to make a difference, one smile at a time? Our multi-location practice is looking for a compassionate and energetic Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team! At Vance Misuraca Orthodontics, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and building lasting relationships with our patients. If you have a passion for oral health and a desire to learn, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including the placement and removal of brackets, bands, and wires
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, orthodontic care, and post treatment care to ensure optimal results
  • Take dental impressions, x-rays, intraoral and extraoral photos, and digital scans for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, treatment areas, and workspaces according to compliance regulations
  • Perform lab tasks, including pouring and trimming models, and fabricating retainers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
