Mission City Construction Inc. is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. This is an exciting opportunity to launch a career in construction with a Santa Clara-based design / build firm that specializes in custom residential homes and high-end commercial improvements. As a laborer, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience across a variety of construction trades including concrete, framing, finish carpentry, plumbing, grading, and drainage. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in construction. Key Responsibilities

Support skilled tradesmen on a wide variety of tasks across job sites

Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools

Load / unload materials and handle logistics around site staging

Prepare and clean construction sites, including debris removal and equipment maintenance

Erect and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding and bracing

Assist with foundational work such as earth compaction, drainage setup, and pipe installation

Perform general labor tasks such as digging, breaking concrete, stripping forms, and setting frames

Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions

Ask questions and learn from on-the-job training opportunities

Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor on-site

Required Qualifications

Strong work ethic and physical stamina

Ability to lift / move up to 70 lbs and navigate active construction sites

Comfortable working in various weather and environmental conditions

Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks

Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)

Reliable transportation and a clean driving record

Eagerness to learn Mission City Construction's standards and methods

Positive attitude and willingness to take direction

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday. 8-10 hour shifts based on project needs. Overtime available.

Work Location

Projects are based around Santa Clara and surrounding Bay Area regions. Must be available for on-site work and occasional travel to job sites.
