Description

Applications are invited for the part-time position Adjunct Instructor of Computer Science starting in August 2026 at Virginia Wesleyan University. APh.D. or Masters degree in Computer Science or closely related area is preferred. Candidates with a Masters degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science will be considered. Experience in teaching college-level mathematics is preferred. Interested candidates may apply at . Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Teach lower-level Computer Science courses (Java)
  • Comply with FERPA regulations .
  • Coordinate with Academic Support Services as needed.
  • The department will provide syllabi and other course materials as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Ph.D. or Masters with at least 18 graduate hours in Computer Science.
  • College teaching experience is preferred.
