Job Title : Material Handler

Organization : PX General Stores / Warehousing ()

Essential Job Duites :

• Operates all material handling / moving equipment such as but not limited to forklifts stock-pickers buses trucks cars connection with assigned duties such as :

Transportation of material

Skills and Minimum Qualifications :

Minimum of one (1) year work experience within the last five (5) years which included assignments involving forklift operation as a significant part of the job or

Education :

High School diploma or (GED) General Education Diploma

DOE 426.2A Requirements :

Personnel entering positions and performing duties identified by management as falling under the requirements of DOE O 426.2 must meet certain minimum education and experience requirements as provided in the addition the applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2 (i.e. High School diploma or a DOE O 426.2 alternative). DOE 426.2 experience requirements can be satisfied following the interim newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities. (Ref. Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

Requires Human Reliability Program (HRP) certification. If the successful candidate is not currently certified in the HRP the certification process will be initiated upon assumption of the position. If the successful candidate is currently certified in the HRP a review for HRP certification in the appropriate category will be performed by the hiring manager and the HRP Management Official and the certification process in the appropriate category will be initiated upon assumption of the position.
