Design Stress Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for wind tunnel test models using 3D CAD software.

• Perform strength and stress analyses utilizing Nastran, Femap, and Advance Sim.

• Conduct structural analysis to ensure model integrity, safety, and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and testing teams to support aerospace model development.

• Ensure all designs comply with quality standards and the AS9100D quality management system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Aeronautical.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical design with expertise in 3D CAD modeling (Aerospace/Aircraft experience preferred).

• Proficiency in Siemens NX or equivalent 3D design software.

• Demonstrated experience in strength, stress, and structural analysis.

• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required (per US Export/ITAR Restrictions); DOD Clearance preferred.
