[job_card.job_description]3+ years of Accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Solid working knowledge of GAAP Accounting Hands-on experience in Accounting in a large corporation with multiple subsidiaries Microsoft Excel proficient (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, etc.) Solid analytical and problem solving skills Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized 3+ years of experience in a Management role CPA or parts passed Background in Mergers & Acquisitions Working knowledge of NetSuite and OpenAir Costing Accounting background Previous experience in the Advertising and / or Marketing industry
A recognized marketing services agency in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team as an Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting team
- Manage the monthly financial close process
- Review and approve journal entries
- Assist with finance statements report preparation, with flux analysis
- Oversee balance sheet accounts reconciliation and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements
- Maintain the general ledger system
- Provide support on annual audits
- Prepare summary financial statements variances analysis
- Maintain the Internal Controls compliance and documentation
- Manage the payroll reconciliation
