Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 2 to 8 years of experience in residential wood construction to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing structural calculations and drawings, coordinating with architects and contractors, and performing local site observations during construction.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare complete structural calculation packages and construction documents

Design and analyze wood-framed residential structures including custom homes and remodels

Coordinate with project team members including architects, contractors, and internal staff

Perform local site visits for construction observation and field support

Ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)

2–8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering for residential wood-frame projects

Strong understanding of structural systems, codes, and construction practices

Proficient in structural design software (e.g., RISA, ENERCALC, REVIT, AutoCAD, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EIT or PE license a plus, but not required

Pay / Salary to be based on experience
