[job_card.job_description]Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs Required to take call when necessary Perform CT scans and maintain competency with all CT equipment and workstations Administer contrast media following established procedures Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operation Position patients appropriately and ensure proper patient identification using 2 unique identifiers Review CT images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment Transport patients and assist with positioning on procedure tables Apply radiation shielding and immobilization devices as needed Complete patient charging activities on the day service is rendered Required certifications : ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred Must demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care Complete mandatory departmental and hospital-wide education requirements Maintain equipment cleanliness and infection control standards Referral bonus
