Senior Welding Engineer

The Senior Welding Engineer will be the go-to expert for developing and optimizing welding techniques procedures and equipment applications across our metal fabrication operations. Youll work closely with production engineering and quality teams to improve weld quality efficiency and safety every step of the way.

In this role you will :

Provide day-to-day process support and troubleshooting for welding operations.

Investigate and document weld defects identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Develop qualify and roll out new welding procedures using the latest technologies.

Design welding projects and specify the right tools materials and processes for success.

Continuously improve production capabilities and drive weld optimization initiatives.

Analyze workflows and production data to recommend improvements and streamline operations.

Create and maintain manufacturing documentation work instructions and equipment manuals.

Manage programs across multiple machines ensuring traceability repeatability and ERP integration.

Develop and maintain welding fixtures ensuring proper design use and documentation.

Collaborate cross-functionally share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

What Were Looking For

Bachelors degree in Welding Engineering Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial or Systems Engineering.

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.

Proven welding experience with sheet metal weldments and large assemblies.

Proficiency in CAD software to design and document welding projects.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with ISO 9000 standards.

Knowledge of welding equipment installation maintenance and repair.
