Join a dedicated pediatric outpatient clinic serving the Southeastern United States region. This full-time day position involves providing compassionate nursing care under the supervision of a physician or office manager. You will assist clinic staff and patients with various clinical functions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct nursing care tailored to the age-specific physiological needs of pediatric patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to life-threatening situations.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives and monitor quality of care.
- Support patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within the scope of medical care.
- Contribute to cost containment efforts and ensure accurate billing for services.
- Foster positive interpersonal relationships with healthcare team members and patients.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in a Compact state or the relevant state.No prior work experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs of pediatric patients.Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.Physical Requirements
