Family Nurse Pracitioner

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP or PA) to join our client's outpatient community healthcare team. As a FNP / PA, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive primary care services to patients. This is an excellent opportunity in Eastern, Maine to serve a diverse patient population in a rural setting. The position offers the flexibility of a 4 day work-week. Highlights of the FNP / PA Position:

• Tuesday - Friday (4 x 10 schedule)
• Hours: 7am - 5pm
• Outpatient position

• Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests
• Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions
• Utilize your advanced communication skills to educate, support, and empower patients and their families to actively participate in the treatment process

Skills Required for the FNP / PA:

• Current FNP or PA certification
• Valid and unrestricted state NP or PA license in the state of Maine
• The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience as a FNP or PA preferably in an outpatient primary care setting
• New graduates will be considered
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, with a focus on fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a diverse caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care standards
