Service Advisor to join a local trucking dealership service team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and accurately document vehicle service concerns
- Open and close repair orders and clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance
- Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repair status, and completion times
- Provide customers with accurate estimates, timelines, and updates
- Upsell preventative maintenance and additional services when appropriate
- Ensure warranty, billing, and documentation are completed accurately
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and follow-up after service completion
RequirementsQualifications- Previous experience as a Service Advisor (truck or automotive preferred)
- Knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, or fleet maintenance is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-service driven with problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with computer systems and service software
- Valid driver's license required
- Schedule is Tuesday - Friday 9am-6pm Saturday 7am-3pm
