Marketing Intern Location: Birmingham, AL Pay: Hourly based on experience Hours: Based on School Schedule

Electra Grid Solutions is a forward-thinking company in the utility and energy sector, committed to innovation and sustainability. We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This is a paid internship designed to give students and emerging professionals a hands-on introduction to the world of marketing and brand development in the energy industry.

What You'll Do

As a Marketing Intern, you'll work closely with our Marketing Manager and collaborate across departments to support key marketing initiatives:

• Assist with social media strategy and create engaging content
• Support the selection and branding of marketing merchandise
• Contribute to graphic design, photography, and videography efforts
• Help develop presentations and marketing collateral
• Analyze campaign and content performance using marketing analytics
• Attend and represent Electra Grid at industry conferences, site visits, and community events

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Desired Skills:

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization and time management
• Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism
• Ability to manage scheduling and logistics independently
• A passion for customer service, branding, and storytelling

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during office work or event attendance
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, banners, merchandise)
• Must be able to travel locally and regionally for events, site visits, and conferences
• Capable of using a computer, camera equipment, and other office tools for prolonged periods
