Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately code inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM / PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures to ensure accurate coding.
• Review and resolve coding edits and denials.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
